Rashika Perera Gomez
Dr Rashika Perera Gomez is a closet poet. For years she has been scribbling poems on bits of paper, napkins, journals, and on her blog. She has finally embraced the label "author" as she ventures excitedly into this new chapter of her life.
In her poems she weaves together her life stories with the stories of those who have crossed her path on this journey between starkly different lands. She gives voice to the sufferings and tribulations of the heartbroken and the victorious. She writes from a position of strength and vulnerability, making her poems relatable to others' life journeys.

Featuring Rashika Perera Gomez (soprano) and guest artists from Sri Lanka, Soundarie David Rodrigo (piano) and Dushyanthi Perera (cello), and artists from Melbourne, Rushan Hewawasam (tenor), Niraj Vethanayagam (tenor), and Lorna Ogilvy (piano).
